On a scale from 1 (least happy) to 10 (happiest), according to the 2016 World Happiness Report, the mean happiness level for the USA is 7.10. Denmark had the highest rating (7.52), then Switzerland (7.51), Iceland ( 7.50), and Norway (7.50).
